Farberware manufacturers cookware products, including a line of pots and pans constructed from stainless steel. Some stainless steel product lines have copper bottoms on the outside. If your Farberware stainless steel cookware is spotty, encased in a white film, stained, discolored or the copper bottom is dull or dark, a few simple cleaning techniques can restore your cookware and bring it back to its original shine.
Towel dry your Farberware stainless steel cookware after each washing. This will remove water spots.
Scrub the stainless with a sponge, soft rag or brush that is moist with lemon juice or white vinegar to remove a white film that sometimes appears on top of stainless steel. This white film is caused from minerals found in tap water. Wash in warm soapy water and then rinse the stainless well.
Remove discolorations and hard-to-remove stains with a stainless steel cleaner as recommended by Farberware. Place a small amount of cleaner on a rag, sponge or soft nylon pad and scrub it gently on the stains. Next, wash and rinse the cookware.
Restore and shine the copper bottoms of Farberware stainless steel cookware with white vinegar or lemon juice. You can also use a copper cleaner made for cookware, which will also help remove any protective coating you may have inadvertently left behind. Apply using a soft cloth or sponge and rub the bottoms of the cookware. Then wash in warm soapy water and rinse.
