Ceramic cookware, commonly made from baked clay, is available in many forms such as porcelain, stoneware and earthenware. Ceramic cookware is quite durable and ideal for slow cooking because of its even heating characteristics. Foods usually resist sticking in ceramic cookware, but buildup can occur. Clean your ceramic cookware soon after cooking to remove food residue with minimal effort. Proper care and cleaning will ensure that your ceramic cookware will last for many years.
