The meaning and experience around Menopause has been wrongly promoted as a milestone in the female life associated with the end of an era, the end of a season. It might be the end of the menses but this has very little relevance in a life where the goal wasn’t just to produce the greatest number of unique symptoms. The true signal allows a far more positive and exciting future.
This new season doesn’t necessarily require a complete change of direction but reorganization of most tasks, thoughts and secondary agendas that can interfere with the primary goal.
Positive at work here is, hopefully, knowing our interests, skills and passions, the people we like being around and those who can be graciously given new visiting rights. This useful knowledge should become the basis for the necessary refining processes.
Useless committees, even time consuming shopping schedules all need to be reviewed with a precision and discipline previously not needed.
The size and nature of each force to be reckoned with varies with each individual. Only you can decide what must be eliminated, reorganized, refired and retired. The methods are up to you but must be done at a level that eliminates wasted time and allows a definite recognition of change.
