What appears in your mind when I say ‘Burger King’? Yummy burgers stuffed with creamy layers of mayonnaise, chicken nuggets and melt-in-the-mouth white cheese, isn’t it?
Well, what about a twist?

How would you like something black? Say, a black burger?

Wait. Let me put forth some words of wisdom before you puke.
This super famous..yes..super famous black burger doesn’t give you a taste of rotten wood burnt for days or charcoal. Instead, it is as scrumptious (or maybe more scrumptious) as the regular cheeseburgers you have been having since long.
So now that there is a new entrant in the Japanese culinary market, you might have a few questions hovering over your head. Let me guess a few of them for you (and answer them as well).

It is called the ‘Premium Kuro..
Yes. Kuro means ‘black’ in Japanese. So getting back to the question; the introductory dish is the Premium Kuro Burger. The bread is coloured with bamboo charcoal and squid ink is added to the ketchup.
Yo, we are talking about the Japs here! Whether it is automobiles or tech gadgets, clothing or food, they are the masters of variants.
So yes. Last year they introduced the Kuro Ninja, which had the same bamboo charcoal and squid ink plus something else.
A slice of bacon hanging out from the centre, which kind of resembles a tongue whipping at its eaters.
You bet they did. The Premium Kuro Burger was a hit with the Japanese customers. And hence Burger King is now into black cheese slices as well. And also…
Yeah. That’s where I am coming. They also have moved into beef burgers made with black pepper, onion and garlic sauce with squid ink and the black bread.

The ‘BOON’ of the Black Pearl, rather. Because the flavour and taste of this burger can mesmerize your taste buds in such a way that you will only want more and more of it.
The Kuro Pearl contains the burger, cheese and sauce; enough to take you on a vacation right from where you are seated.
And guess what? Then we have the all new ‘Kuro Diamond’. This might actually provide some solace to your eyes, because this burger comes with some edible-looking lettuce, onions, tomatoes and the other usual trimmings.
Oh wait. Don’t get bored now. The previous versions, which were all limited editions, had had unexpectedly amazing response from the people!
And yes. You don’t have to shell out your fortune to take a bite of these. The Kuro Pearl is priced at 2.80 pounds and the Kuro Diamond at 4 pounds…..only.
Yes. But don’t get over-excited now. The new Kuros are going to be released only on the 19th September. So I guess you will have to wait for one more week!
