  • Toasted wheat germ

  • Cornmeal

How To Make:

  1. Combine one cup low-fat buttermilk, three-tablespoon buttermilk, and three ounces of fresh egg white in a bowl; stir well.
  2. In another bowl mix ½ cup regular oats ( processed till finely powdered), two cup all purpose flour, ½ cup whole wheat flour, ½ cup cornmeal, ¼ cup unprocessed wheat bran, ¼ toasted wheat germ, ¼ cup sugar, 2 teaspoon baking powder, salt, 1 teaspoon baking soda.
  3. Add this pancake mix with wet ingredients and stir until smooth (batter will be slightly thick).
  4. Spoon about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot non-stick griddle or non-stick skillet coated with cooking spray.
  5. Turn pancakes when tops are covered with bubbles and edges looked cooked.

4. Egg White Omelette With Spinach And Tomatoes:

  • Spinach

  1. In a small sized skillet, heat some oil over a medium flame.

  12. Using a spatula, gently spoon about one-fourth of the spinach mixture that was set aside onto half of the omelette. Carefully fold over, cook for another half a minute and slide onto a plate.
