The 1st of April, colloquially known as April Fools Day is a day when the internet is flooded with crazy prank ideas and hardly anyone is spared. Well, if you don’t know yet, there have been several celebrities too, who have fallen prey to such events or have been instrumental in trolling others and these episodes have been absolutely hilarious.

Shah Rukh Khan
Charming, sexy and super smart, no one would've guessed that Shah Rukh too, could be pranked! According to reports, SRK was scheduled to attend a press conference on April 1st a few years ago and he happened to reach a bit late. On having arrived, he was surprised to see all the media leaving and was clueless and was flabbergasted. After a short while and many attempts to suppress their laughter, the reporters couldn't keep the joke up any longer and apologised to the star. SRK was his sweet self and had a good laugh after realising it was just a prank.
Kareena Kapoor
A few years ago, a media house released the news that Bebo was expecting, leaving all the producers of her films tensed and anxious. The news soon spread like wildfire and before it wasn't long before the Udta Punjab actress was receiving endless phone calls from people, congratulating her and quizzing her on the same. The next day, the post was taken off social media and the media house released a statement saying it was an April Fools Day prank. Phew!
Vidya Balan
During the shoot for The Dirty Picture, Emraan Hashmi, Vidya’s co-star, pretended to drink a whole lot of alcohol and even stood around with a glass in his hand, to make the act look more authentic. In an attempt to scare Vidya, Emraan kept ogling her until she was so uncomfortable that she went and complained about it to the production managers. Later, Emraan revealed it was a joke and the two burst into a fit of laughter.
Kajal Aggarwal
Kajal was pranked by Akshay Kumar and how! Once, Akshay hid over 20 spoons in Kajal’s bag while the actress was busy interacting with the media. The poor girl was left red-faced with embarrassment when security stopped her to check her bag and were surprised at the sight!
Alia Bhatt
This happened on the sets of Shaandaar. Shahid Kapoor apparently told Alia some really spooky stories which left her sleepless for several nights. Not just that, he once even showed up at her door after she had switched off the lights and knocked incessantly making scary noises, scaring the living daylight out of the chirpy actress.
Abhishek Bachchan
When it comes to pranks, junior Bachchan isn't too far behind. He once posed as a digital marketing manager and called a die-hard fan of his. It took that fan some time to believe that it was indeed Abhishek who had called her. Cute, isn't it?
Ajay Devgn
Contradictory to Ajay’s tough looks and serious vibe, in real life the actor is a very fun-loving person and quite the prankster! During the shooting for Kaal, Ajay received an information that the set designer of the movie was terrified of a ghost and well, that was it. In the director's absence, Ajay messed up his entire room up. When the designer later returned, he ran away from the room and was convinced that this was an act by a ghost.
