Raw Goat Meat: Taste, Texture & Dietary Considerations

Did you ever eat raw goat on this diet? How does it taste?

Yes I have - I've bought it from Brixton Market a few times. Raw goat meat is very pungent in taste, and I liked it a lot, though I'm usually too lazy to go all the way across the city to buy the stuff.

I'm hopeless at describing taste accurately, but others on the web describe (cooked-) goat-meat as tasting like a cross between beef and venison or compare it to lamb - but I find the taste to be rather unique.
