Fried Foods and Carcinogens: What You Need to Know
QuestionI have read that a mineral which is produced when food like potato crisps, french fries, crispbread etc is fried could be carcinogenic, but that the experts are still out, so we need take no precautions - yet.
Is this true, or do you consider that it would be wise in any event to cut down/cut out such foods?

Answeryou should be avoiding those kinds of foods anyway. Who cares if they are carcinogenic or not (which I don't think that holds enough truth yet to get all excited about). Most are full of fat and are very unhealthy. That's should be close to top of your list for foods to avoid.
