Fruit vs. Juice: Which is Healthier During Pregnancy?

Hi there;
I am pregnant & struggling to eat fruit - it bloats me terribly & gives me heart-burn, no matter what type of fruit.  I can manage fruit juice though, as long as I dilute it.  Am I getting the same benefits if I drink instead of eat?  I always make sure that the juice is 100%, no sugar added.

Hello Georgina!

   Thank you for your nutrition question.  When you dilute it you are not getting as many nutrients.  Since fruits and vegetables are so important to your diet, I would recommend that you check out www.juiceblend.com   There is a product called Juice Plus which contains the nutrients from fresh fruits and vegetables.
