Understanding Carbohydrate Intolerance: Symptoms, Causes & Management

Question
Jen
I am overweight, and even if I drasticly reduce calories,I only have success in weight loss if I cut out the carbs.
I have noticed that toast, pastries, and especially potatoes give me gas and bloating.I carry most of my weight in my belly-it expands like a baloon! Is this carbohydrate intolerance?
I can go without the potatoes and switch to multi grain(?) bread, but how do I get over my craving for dessert?
Today I did great, but had two oreo cookies.
Thanks!

Answer
Bud, you are not intolerant to carbohydrates - because you can eat some of them without having gas or bloating.  The white bread, pastries, etc. aren't helping you because they don't have the "whole grains" that provide healthy things for us....fiber, some protein, vitamins, minerals.  You are much better off eating "whole grains" not just "whole wheat".  Make sure foods you buy say "whole grain" or "100% whole grain".

Now, to get over your craving for dessert, use Bios Life Slim.  It is a new product and I'm not kidding you - you will be amazed with how you lose interest in dessert, snack foods, overeating.  If you are constantly thinking about food, you will stop.  It lowers cholesterol....it's healthy and the best answer for people that have a hard time losing weight.  Learn more at my website, email me if you have any questions.
