RNY Gastric Bypass & Chest X-rays: What to Expect

I had RNY Gastric Bypass 7 years ols and have had no complications. My question is does the staples show up in a routine chest xray, does a routine chest xray show I have had this done,

A high quality chest X-ray should show some subtly visible staples in the area of your gastric bypass.  It would not be easy for a radiologist to determine (from the X-ray alone) that you had undergone a gastric bypass.
