Typical Work Hours for Gemologists: What to Expect

My chemistry had to pick something we wanted to be but i had  to involve chemistry. So i picked Gemologist and i have been on every website to find the hours a gemologist works. I was kinda hoping you could help me out on this one.

Hello,

I guess it would depend on if he were self employed in which case he could choose his own hours.  Or if we were employed by a jewelry store in which case I believe he would work regular 40 hour weeks like everyone else.
