Fibromyalgia Support: Natural Herbs & Vitamins for Daily Wellness

Question
Hi there,

How are you?  I wanted to tell you a little about myself and then see if you could give me a good line up of herbs, and vitamins to take daily...(based on my body, health)  LOL

Ok, I am 28 yrs old, I weight 175 pounds (on a diet though) I have 3 children.  I had a hysterectomy in 2001....they left my overies.  I was also diagnosed (spell?)  with Fibromyalgia  in Oct. of last yr.  I alreay take a multivitamin, black cosh (menopause symptoms), ginko biloba (memory), Effexor (depression),  Cranberry (urine health), Fiber (constipation), and the doctor just recently put me on a muscle relaxer, and a sleeping pill for the Fibromyalgia. I know, its alot of stuff for a woman that is only 28 yrs old.   The thing is, it seems like none of this is helping, except the black cosh has really helped with the hot flashes, and the crawling skin feeling that I was having.  My symntoms are, extremely sleepy/fatigued 24/7.  I would do anything just to have a little bit of energy.  Its so bad, I can barely get up with my children in the mornings and get them ready for school. What would you suggest I do/take to get more energy? Body aches,and they hurt!... just like you feel when you are getting the flu, but times 10.  But someone with Fibro has them  everyday. I have the irritable bowel (mine is always constipation) Then when I take a laxitive, I get the severe stomach cramps.  Win/Lose situation. Well, thats all I can think of for now...LOL  With this information, I was hoping that you would be able to help me decide what I should take as far as herbs/vitamins....I have always been a believer in natural health remedies.  Also, I know that there are great supplements out there that women should be taking everyday, but I am not sure what they are.  Just like....Soy for example, you hear all the time how good it is for women to take it.  And the Black Cosh, for menopause.  And lots others that I am not aware of, thats where I need your advice.  Sorry so long, just wanted to explain as much as possible.  If you have the time, please write back, and I appreciate it very, very much!Thanks, Amy Reed

amy;

well first thing does your doctor know about the herbs your taking? do to another medications react to herbs and dont work proper,so its best to talk with your doctor;

not all people can take herbs,they dont work well on some of us,as myself.

eating a healthy diet and drinking enough water in a day will help a great deal.
the muscle relaxer and a sleeping pill maybe to much for you to handle,and that is way you real like your in a sleeply fog during the day time.

for your safety and you with your children,i suggest having all the medication and herbs/vits viewed over by your doctor,before taking anything more,sorry i cant do more at this time;
