Understanding Lightheadedness, Nausea, and Migraines: Causes & Solutions

Question
Lately, I have been getting lightheaded a lot.  Once this begins I get nauseated and develop a migraine.  The only thing that helps is Aleeve and sleep.  I don't want to get addicted to taking Aleeve(seems like this is the path, I'm going down).  Any idea of what is going on?  I'm trying to schedule an appointment with my doctor.  It seems every year when I have my physical, I am in good health but this particular problem never seems to dissipate.  Please advise.  Thanks

Answer
valerie;

a migraine usually begins in the early morning or during the day with intense,gripping pain on one side of your head that may gradually spread. it typically reaches the peak of severity in minutes to an hour or two and lasts for hours to days,unless treated. sleep generally improves signs and symptoms,but you may be listless after waking up. the frequency of attacks can range from daily to occasional.

migraine attacks can be associated with nausea and,at times,vomiting.
the exact cause of migraines is unknown.

there are so many new medications on the market to day,so i am sure there something out there for you as well;

i suggest you see your doctor for a proper treatment plan.

good luck;
