QuestionI had a cholesterol test done and the results were:-
Cholesterol - 5.7
LDL - 3.2
HDL - 2.2
I was told by our clinic sister that I should not worry and to eat more veggies and fruit and to cut down on my red meat intake.
Is this a healthy result or should I worry?
I am a female aged 47 and I weigh 85kg.
Thank you for your kind assistance.
AnswerHi Magda. I'm unable to help you with your question because the results of your tests are in units that I don't recognize. For example, at the lab I work at, the normal range for cholesterol is 80-220. You must not be from the U.S., because the units are different. Sorry.
