QuestionI am a 23 y/o female. I am a virgin (a real one not a "sort of virgin"). In the last 6 weeks I have had what appear to be cold sores start to develop on my upper lip three times. They don't burn, itch or hurt. Then after 1.5 to 2.5 days they disappear. I've had no other symptoms. HSV-1/2 come to mind but since the symptoms disappear so fast, I don't know if that's what it is. Do you have any alternative suggestions of what it could be.
Also, My health insurance doesn't kick in until next month. If I go seek a diagnosis/treatment, would it be considered a preexisting condition when my health insurance kicks in and therefore treatment (if any) would not be covered.
