Sumycin for Acne: Long-Term Use & Potential Side Effects - Expert Insights
QuestionI am a 38 year old woman with 1 child. About 10 years ago, I took Sumycin for my mild to medium acne for more than a year and my face was all cleared up. As soon as I stopped taking it, the pores on my face start to clog up again. Now I have mild acne and clogged pore all over. I am thinking about taking Sumycin again. When I took it, I didn't have any side effect from it. I am planning to take it for long term, maybe 10-20 years and beyond. Will there be any side effect or damage to my health in the long run? Thank you!
Answersome people take it regularly for acne, it has some properties to help lower facial gland oil as well as an antibiotic... you don't want to get pregnant while on it...you are prob better off taking it in cycles, meaning take it 2-3X per day for a week then off until it relapses.......
