QuestionI was reading up, and have heard that neem oil is used in India as a spermicide. I am always looking for natural alternatives, and this would be really cool. I was wondering if you had heard about this?
AnswerYes I've heard of this. You may try it, but contraceptive effect is not guaranteed.
I'll be glad to hear from you when (if) you have tried it. I would like to know whether it gave you skin irritation or other side effects.
Personally I wouldn't try it since it's not very well documented for human use. But is seems like a very natural contraceptive :-) I'm into natural solutions too and don't even use synthetic birth control (pill, patch, ring, nonoxynol-9 (spermicide) etc.)
