Fetal Hair Growth: Understanding Development at 24 Weeks
QuestionI was looking at some abortion pictures and there are several (maybe of the same fetus) that had a head full of hair. The caption read that it was at 24 weeks, but I was under the impression that the hair grown on head by 24 weeks is so light that it's white, not full black.
Do you think these pics are accurate? It does look like a real fetus, but I wonder if it's more devleoped than 24 weeks?
AnswerDear Sarah,
Those pictures are fake. You are very smart to notice that it is impossible for a 24 week fetus to have a full head of hair. Most newborns don't even have that much hair.
The entire pro-life (anti-choice) movement is about controlling women and punishing us for having sex.
