Hi i am 34yrs old.   I had a termination done on sept. 26.  On oct 4 i had sex with my partner.  We did not use any protection.  But he we did practice the withdrawal method.  How long after a termination can you actually become pregnant.

TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE 6 WKS SINCE I HAD MY TERMINATION DONE I STILL HAVEN'T HAD A MENSTRUAL CYCLE.  LAST NIGHT NOV 4 I TOOK A EPT TEST.  IT CAME BACK NEGATIVE.  WHICH I AM HAPPY.  I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN I SHOULD HAVE A MENSTRUAL CYCLE AGAIN.  ALSO HOW LONG AFTER A TERMINATION DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO GET YOUR CYCLE.

Hi Deirdre,
As long as you are not pregnant, there is nothing to worry about.  This is normal. It can take two months to get your period, and I've seen longer.  Your cycle will come back.  You just have to be careful, because you definitely can get pregnant.
