QuestionI read you advice on 2/18/08
"Abortion can cause physical problems, emotional, psychological, etc. It's not something that you can hide forever as the truth usually comes out. Besides, abortion is a serious medical procedure and your parents might know something about your medical history that would be important to know.
You should know better. See below:
Abortion is one of the safest surgical procedures for women in the United
States. Fewer than 0.5% of women obtaining abortions experience a
complication, and the risk of death associated with abortion is about onetenththat associated with childbirth. http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/sfaa/pdf/california.pdf
In the Journal of the American Medical Association, Nada Stotland, M.D., former president of the Association of Women Psychiatrists, stated:
"Significant psychiatric sequelae after abortion are rare..."
Russo and Dabul reported their conclusions of an eight-year study in Professional Psychology,"The experience of having an abortion plays a negligible, if any, independent role in women's well-being over time, regardless of race or religion."

AnswerLooks like you picked all biased sources to draw your conclusions. I have lots of websites to go to but you would probably say they are biased to prolife. But one website I know that is composed of women who have had abortions is http://www.afterabortion.com
