my question about pregnancy is that
i had sex sex with my bf on date 12th feb'2011
last time i have period on date 29th jan'2011
than preferably i should get period on date 26th feb'2011
but it won't,
i have no period on that day also not in following 5 days i waited calmly
after my bf suggest me to take urine test
i took the test with strip
it got one dark line and another light red..(if preg than both line should be appear)
we think it was +ve
so he took MTP KIT for medical abortion
its having(1+4) mifepristone & misoprostol
i took 1 tab mifepristone on date 6th march'2011 05:00 pm
2 tab misoprostol on date 6th march'2011 11:30 pm
2 tab misoprostol on date 7th march'2011 09:00 am
but it not help me to got period as i heard and read about that KIT something like heavy blood flow staying for a week or long
but in my case
only few blood dots after 1 day evening
after next day few more blood dots lasts for half an hour
after than nothing till today..
is that medical abortion is successful ?? or not ??
or we should try more....
is that preg test help us...??
how to check ???
i heard that only 9 week can save us from surgical abortion after that we must go for surgical abortion
can you give me any more drug prescription that will help me
i will be very thankful to you

ANSWER: I will advise you to seek out a doctor who can do an USG and confirm if you have had an abortion or not. And do not delay otherwise you may have serious complications.

but i heard that if there will be a pregnancy no bleeding will occur at all..??
my question is
1) is that taken dosage of MTP tablets are correct ??? or
may be this be the reason for less bleeding.....??
2) is MTP drugs really worked in my case or not ??? or try once again..
3) if i take cytotec than it will be fine or not ???
4) suppose an abortion is successful than what will be the my next period date ???

AnswerThe dose you have taken is the right dose. But unfortunately many times, these drugs may cause an abortion in the sense that the baby inside is dead, but the products of conception are not expelled. This seems to be the case with you. Since you have taken all the drugs as mentioned , the pregnancy is obviously not viable, but your uterus has not expelled these dead products out and that is why you have not bled. It is now very important to evacuate your uterus of all the products of conception, which can either be done by a further dose of misoprostol or by surgical D&C. But the first thing that needs to be done is a USG to visualize the uterus. Thereafter we can decide what is to be done. I will advise you not to take any further medicines and see a doctor ASAP.
