Nail Technician Pricing: How Much to Charge Friends for Services

Hi Brooke,
I am a new nail technician.  I would like to offer services to my friends at home but do not know how much to charge them.  Do you think that the following list is appropriate?
manicure              $10
pedicure              $18
full set of acrylics  $25
fills                 $12
soak off gels         $30
nail art              $2/nail with a max of $10

Firstly, congratulations on becoming a nail technician! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I think that your price point is fine for working at home, but just know that someday when you go to work in a salon, they may not follow you unless they get that lower price point. Are you going to be working at a salon as well? Because you need to be careful of two things. First, is it legal for you to work from home in your state/country. And second, if you are working in a salon, they may not want you to compete with them by working at home.
