Threading Hair: Does It Actually Make Hair Thinner?

Threading does not make hair thinner. It only removes the hair from the follicle. Hair thickness is determined by genetics and hormones. Threading removes hair by pulling it out from the root, which can sometimes weaken the hair follicle over time, potentially leading to slightly finer regrowth for some individuals. However, this effect is not guaranteed and is not the same as making the hair "thinner" in the sense of reducing the diameter of individual hair strands.
