Bleaching Hair with Benzoyl Peroxide: Risks and Alternatives

Benzoyl peroxide is NOT a hair bleaching agent and should not be used for that purpose. Using benzoyl peroxide on your hair in an attempt to bleach it can cause significant damage, including:

* Severe dryness and breakage: Benzoyl peroxide is a drying agent, and using it on your hair can strip it of its natural oils, making it brittle and prone to breakage.

* Irritation or burns: Benzoyl peroxide can irritate or burn your scalp and skin, especially if used in high concentrations or left on for too long.

* Unpredictable and uneven results: You will not be able to bleach your hair using this method.

Instead of using benzoyl peroxide to bleach your hair, use hair dye or visit a professional hair dresser.
