Best Trimmers for Head Shaving: Expert Recommendations & Reviews

You are a guru.  I've read all of your answers just because they're so interesting.  My question is very simple--I'm a white guy losing his hair who has been shaving it all off.  I have a cheap Norelco beard trimmer that doesn't get very close.  I'm thinking of buying a Styliner II to use on my whole head every day or two.  Would you recommend this?  Also, it would be nice to have a cordless option, can you recommend another trimmer or should I just stick with the Styliner?  Thanks again.

To be honest Sean I never tried any other trimmers besides Andis Styliner and Outliner guess I am stuck in my ways lol. but even those will not get it to the skin but they will cut it very close depending on how thick your hair is naturally want it all the way to the skin to where it looks like leather then I recommend using a razor.
