- Add the grated soap to the inner broiler. Mix it with 1 bowl of distilled water and 1 bowl of milk.
- Let the grated soap completely melt in water and milk.
- Once you get a liquid of even consistency, switch off the flame.
- Mix minced almonds and Shea butter with the molten mixture.
- Add rose essence and a few drops of almond oil to this mixture and beat well. Stir until the mixture gels as one.
- Find a plastic holder and transfer the molten mixture to it.
- Once the mixture gels as solid, dry it for the next 20 days.
- Keep changing sides each day for the next 20 days to ensure proper drying.
- Find a small and thin plastic wrap and cover the soap with it, when it is ready after 20 days.
These are the steps you need to make unadulterated Shea butter soap at home. Rose essence is optional. You can use some other essence of your choice as well.
