Boiling Point of Nail Polish Remover: Acetone, Ethyl Acetate & Isopropyl Alcohol

The boiling point of nail polish remover depends on its composition. Most nail polish removers are primarily acetone, but some contain other solvents like ethyl acetate or isopropyl alcohol.

* Acetone: 56°C (133°F)

* Ethyl Acetate: 77°C (171°F)

* Isopropyl Alcohol: 82.5°C (180.5°F)

If the nail polish remover contains a mixture of these solvents, the boiling point will be somewhere between these values, and it might not be a sharp boiling point due to the varying volatilities of the components. Also the manufacturer may add other ingerdients to the nail polish remover that will also effect the boiling point.
