At times, we like to do bold and dark eyes and underplay the lips department by sticking to neutral shades or may be just a lining and some gloss. But at other times when we dress up for a wedding occasion or for a party in the evening, we just cannot resist red bold lips.
Sometimes we are worried if Bold and bright lips would suit our skin tone or if we’ll be able to carry it confidentially. Without looking too made up, we can still wear the right shade of bold colours if we keep certain points in mind. And whipping up a bold lips makeup isn’t all too hard.
Bold lips not only suit evening occasions but can also brighten up days. As it is always said, when you look good, you feel good. Ever thought of a bright bold fuchsia or mauve lips?

Moisturise the lips and use a concealer for the best results. Use a white liner or a real light baby pink liner for lining. Use the fuchsia or mauve lipstick. I am showing with a mauve lipstick here.
Bold lips suit dark colour clothes like dark greens, dark browns, blacks and again it can be good for the most neutral shades of clothes like grey, ash, white, and baby pink or even rose pink. Moisturise the lips and use a Concealer for best results. Follow it up with a brown liner.
Use maroon lipstick. For more matte finish, dip a small brush or sponge applicator into loose face powder. Shed excess powder and apply it on to both the upper and lower lips.Press against each other and get a matte finish.
Like glossy texture? Use some gloss!
Like reds for bright lips? You can use the reds which suit your skin colour. Some may even use reds that contain tinge of bright orange in them.

Moisturise the lips and use a concealer for the best result. Use a red liner or a deep maroon liner to line the lips. Use red lipstick. Gloss it up for best results. You can also use the above mentioned matte finish effect for a matte red lipstick.
If you have fuller lips then choose darker shades of bold lipsticks which will make your lips look natural.
Here are some more tips which may come handy when going for bright bold lips.
1. Apply in generous amount, press lips against one another and apply again. If your lip colour fades away, then it might look awkward!
2. Apply a liner which is similar to your lipstick’s colour when you are using a bold and bright lipstick shade.
3. Choose wisely when you go out to shop for a bold lip colour. For example choose 2-4 colours randomly and open them one by one. You should buy the one that you feel will suit your lips and skin tone.
4. Keep your lipstick in your purse when you are heading out for a party. Also don’t forget to keep a few tissues and a gloss. You may need to reapply the lipstick after some drinks or dinner at a party.
5. Experts say when you overplay your lips, you will have to under play your eyes for the right impact.
