Eyeliner Application: Upper vs. Lower Lash Lines & Waterline

Most people apply eyeliner *from above* their eye, along the lash line of the upper lid. However, it can also be applied to the lower lash line (or waterline).

Applying eyeliner *from down* doesn't really make sense, as you'd be trying to draw upwards onto your lid.
