Actress Jessica Biel will be the new face of the Fire & Ice collection 2010 by Revlon. The beautiful actress poses in a fabulous and luxurious retro chic modern interpretation, recreating the iconic 1952 Revlon ad campaign that featured the legendary model Dorian Leigh.
Back in 1952, Revlon launched the famous advertising campaign for
the Fire & Ice Color collection. Dorian Leigh was the face of
this makeup line. For the 2010 holiday season, Revlon wants to
revive the glamorous and chic retro feeling relaunching the
luxurious products. The new campaign features Jessica Biel in a
perfect new interpretation of the image from 1952 photographed by
Mario Testino.
It-girl Dorian Leigh was the perfect reflection of the luxurious
femininity with a jet-black hair, striking red lips and nails, and
a stunning silver sequined gown. Today, Jessica Biel, the
collection's new face, flawlessly copies the original image,
featuring Dorian Leigh, accompanied by the tag line "For you who
love to flirt with fire … who dare to skate on thin ice". Jessica
Biel looks impeccable in a bateau-neck beaded dress matched with a
vibrant red shawl.
The new Fire & Ice Color collection 2010 includes lipsticks and
nail polishes in new luxurious and bold colors, such as orange,
rich pink, and classic red, perfect for strong, confident women who
are not afraid to show their feminine and glam side. All the new
shades are meant to recreate the femininity of the original
colors.
The new lipstick shades are Siren (orange), Temptress (fuchsia
pink), Demure (creamy, soft pink), and the existing Fire & Ice
red, which will be packaged in limited-edition vintage Hollywood
makeup case. Lipsticks will sell for $7.99 a piece, with the
matching nail polishes checking in at $4.79 each. The Fire &
Ice vintage-designed lipstick will sell for $8.99.
