This summer comes with a new scent from Marc Jacobs, titled Honey. Get all the details on the latest scent.
The Marc Jacobs Honey fragrance is the newest project to be
released by the fashion house. If the new 'Honey' perfume sounds
somewhat familiar is with good reason. The new perfume is a flanker
for the Dot by Marc Jacobs
fragrance launched last summer.
The new scent is expected to match the success of its predecessor.
Even the launch date of the scent is said to be similar with the
Dot perfume given the fact that it is set to be launched on August
2013. The latest scent was created by the award-winning perfumer
Annie Buzantin in collaboration with fragrance consultant Ann
Gottlieb.
The new Honey by Marc Jacobs perfume will be launched just
before the designer's color cosmetics collection with Sephora which
is scheduled for early September, so the novelties in the beauty
department from the luxury label will definitely keep beauty
enthusiasts on their toes this summer. Adorned with two honey bees
and black and yellow stripes which leave little room for
speculating when it comes to the theme of the new scent. The new
scent will also benefit from ads in magazines. The new ad campaign
which will promote the new scent is also scheduled around that
time.
The Marc Jacobs Honey fragrance lives by its name as far as its
notes are concerned. The fragrance first seduces our senses with
top notes of pear, fruity punch and juicy mandarin which are
complemented by a heart of orange blossom, peach nectar and
honeysuckle.
A base of honey, golden vanilla and smooth woods rounds out the
fabulous bouquet of scents which seems to instantly create the
summer vibe.
The Marc Jacobs flanker
will come in three versions with different $50 for 1 oz.; $71 for
1.7 oz., and $92 for 3.4 oz. The new launches also includes 5-oz.
body lotion for $45, and a 5-oz. shower gel for $40. The new scent
will be distributed by Coty Prestige.
