Prevent & Remove Pillow Creases: Expert Tips & Tricks

Pillow creases can cause a shock when you look in the mirror at the number of new wrinkles you have in the morning. Caused from sleeping on your side or your stomach, the skin and fabric of the pillow bunch up and form a brand new wrinkle. The wrinkle will fade with time, but you can get rid of them quickly in the morning and even prevent them from happening at all.

  • Wash your face with warm water in the morning to smooth out the pillow creases. Use a facial wash that does not take the oil from your skin.

  • Blot your face dry with a towel.

  • Apply a facial moisturizer to your face after you wash it. This will fill in the pillow crease on your face making it vanish.

  • Sleep on your back to prevent pillow creases from occurring. If you can't sleep all night on your back opt for silk pillowcases that won't bunch like cotton.

  • Apply moisturizer before you go to sleep at night to keep your skin soft and supple and less prone to pillow creases.
