Fill a dishwasher-safe measuring cup with 2 cups white vinegar. Place the filled measuring cup in the lower rack of your dishwasher.
Start the dishwasher and allow it to run fully through the wash cycle. Do not include dishwasher detergent during this cycle. Set the control to energy-save dry -- do not use the heated dry.
