Working mothers, there are so many things we all can be grateful for. Read below for my favorites:
1. Have a purpose - everything is so much easier and meaningful with a clear direction.
2. Have less desires. Most of the things you want are random so every time you want something, try to analyze the situation and be objective. Do you really need it?
3. Be full of appreciation.
4. Always have something to look forward to (a big trip abroad next year, a meeting with an old friend in a few days, your next workout, your children coming back from school, etc.)
5. Achieve emotional independence.
6. Be grateful for everything you have (even for the things you don't possess).
7. Write a list of positive affirmations and read it out loud in the morning right after you wake up and before you go to bed. Doing it in front of the mirror, pretending you're talking to yourself, will have an even bigger effect for boosting your confidence, actually believing those statements and starting to think more positively.
8. Donate all the clothes, toys, furniture and other stuff you never use.
9. Have a simple communication with others - don't lie, don't be too wordy, be direct and say what you think.
10. Stop trying to control everything. You can't. Accept it and let go of the things that will happen anyway.
11. Find your passion and start doing what you love.
12. Plan your day from the night before so that you never need to be in a rush.
13. Practice compassion.
14. Pursue only things you truly believe are right for you and enjoy them.
15. The things you do during the day will be much simpler, possible and organized if you start getting up early and going to bed earlier than usual. Use the morning to do some work, to study, or for something personal without being disturbed.
16. Learn to say no. We often agree with others just to please them or not to offend them. We agree to help and do favors even if we don't have the time for that only because we can't say no.That makes us vulnerable and people start using us for their own purpose. So learning to say no whenever you feel like doing so will save you unwanted worries. You have the right to choose not to do a certain thing and to disagree with people. Use it!
17. Let go of the past.
18. Declutter your desk.
