It’s a ridiculously hot summer afternoon, and the untimely power cut at your home makes it even more ridiculous.

Seconds turn into minutes and minutes turn into hours. And you don’t know how long you will have to wait for the power to be back.

You are literally rolling on the floor crying your eyes off. Sweat beads form over your face and your shirt gets stuck to your skin.

Wait. Before I further run through the annoying details, I would like to ask you something.

How about some chilled coffee? Or better, how about a few coffee ice cubes floating around a tumbler of cold milk?

I can see a gleam splattering across your face! And yes, coffee ice cubes are a reality. They ain’t some fantasy lurking inside the pages of a legend.

So want to prepare a few cold cubes of coffee? Then this is how!

1. The Pour:

Take an empty ice cube tray and pour freshly brewed coffee into it. One thing you must ensure is that the tray doesn’t overflow with coffee. Pour only the required amount of coffee into the ice cube tray.

2. The Freeze:

Place the ice cube tray inside the freezer. Leave it that way for a few hours.

3. The Flip:

Flip and remove the solidified coffee cubes one by one from the tray.

4. Ecstasy:

Add the ice cubes to any of your favourite beverage or cold milk, and get enticed with the exotic richness of coffee!
