Why Aren't I Losing Weight at the Gym? - Expert Advice

Question
i have  been going to the gym for two months now three times a week ,i am not on a diet but have cut down although my body shape is changing i have hardly lost anything on the scales ,does this mean im still eating too many caloies?

Answer
Hi Diane,

Muscle does weigh a lot.

Focus on the quality of what you eat and the quantity takes care of itself. Calorie counting is a wasted effort as metabolism changes with moods, stresses, muscle mass and more.

Go for a body in motion for a total of 30 minutes a day, 5 minutes here, 3 minutes there, walk briskly, climb stairs, dance around...
Resistance training is most effective done once a week in a non-stop, exhaust each of 6 muscle moves, one group at a time.
