Here's how bra sizing works:
* Band Size: The number (38 in this case) refers to the circumference around your ribcage, just below your breasts.
* Cup Size: The letters indicate the difference between your ribcage measurement and your bust measurement. The difference in inches corresponds to the letter. Each letter represents approximately a 1-inch difference.
The cup sizes increase in the following order:
A, B, C, D, DD, DDD (or E), DDDD (or F), G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, and so on.
So, a 38H cup is several sizes larger than a 38DDDD (which is sometimes labeled as a 38F).
