Effective Holi Color Removal: Quick & Easy Methods

In our friend group we believe that till the time people are able to recognize you, Holi is not well played. The rule is that one should be so covered with colours that, nobody recognises you. We play all day long, get tired and full of colour stains. While playing Holi is fun, to get rid of Holi colours is a pain. I generally spend more than an hour scrubbing off the colours and by the end of it, my skin would have been a complete disaster and I share this experience with many others. Thus, here are some easy ways to get rid of Holi Colours -

The easiest way to get rid of Holi colours is to apply packs made of natural ingredients.

1.Mash one banana, with two spoons of milk and honey. Apply this pack all over the body and keep it till it is dry. Scrub it off with water after 20 minutes. It takes two three times application to get rid of Holi colours. This pack helps you prevent dry skin and skin rashes which usually one faces after playing Holi.

2.To get rid of Holi colours from your face without making it dry, mix 1 spoon of masoor dal, I spoon of flour, 1 spoon of rose water and a pinch of turmeric. Apply the pack on your skin and let it dry for 20 minutes. With very less water first scrub it gently and then wash it off with water. You are sure to get a clean, clear and healthy skin.

3.To get rid of Holi colour from your hair, wash it with one spoon of vinegar in water. You can also apply a hair pack made of fenugreek seeds, amla powder, boiled shikakai powder and water.

4.You can also wash you face with warm water and then with a help of cotton apply aloevera and lemon, Wipe you face with it. This solution helps in getting rid of dry colours.

5.To remove paints from the skin, soak some cotton in coconut oil and wipe your face with it.

Few Points To Remember To Remove Colours -

1.Never use cold water to remove colours. It makes them stick to the skin.

2.Do not rub the skin hard. It might cause rashes. To make the colour light, you can use lemon.

3.After removing the Holi colour, make sure to massage you body well with a moisturiser.
