It’s true that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, but sometimes, you’re not really sure if the beholder is looking at your face or elsewhere, isn’t it? Well ladies, we’ve all had our moments when the show of cleavage has been more than enough to distract an intelligent conversation or an intense argument. And admit it – if that distraction is coming from elsewhere, we’ve sure felt a little of that catty feeling that’s otherwise called jealousy, right?
If you have a good cleavage, you’re already there. But then, if your assets aren’t really quite up to what you’d like them to be, do not to worry as there’s nothing a little bit of makeup won’t fix. Not everyone has the perfect fullness, and a little bit of trickery can come in quite handy at such times.
So read below to know more on how to fake cleavage using makeup:
You will need two different shades of bronzers – a dark one and a lighter one. The darker one needs to be at least a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone. Since enhancing your cleavage will involve contouring, you’ll need two different shades. You’ll also need a highlighter.
Before you begin the makeup on your cleavage, make sure you’re wearing your push-up bra. This will give your assets a boost and you’ll know exactly where to apply makeup. Don’t wear all of your clothes before the cleavage makeup, as it will make it difficult to apply the makeup, and you’ll also end up ruining your clothes with makeup. Keep it for later. Now using a small brush, apply the darker bronzer along the top or highest part of your natural curve. Then bring it down into the inner edge of your cleavage. Repeat on both the sides. Blend in well so that there are no ‘pronounced’ traces of makeup left. The idea is to make it look as natural as possible.
Think of a ‘Y’, and using the brush, sweep your bronzer along the natural curve and roundness at the top of each breast. The idea is to create a ‘Y’ shape.
Using a highlighting powder or cream, apply it along the upper half area of your breasts, the one that’s pushed up. You can also use a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your skin tone. This will help create an illusion of fullness. Brush it down the middle of your cleavage as this will help catch light and create depth – the perfect look for a full cleavage.
With your setting powder, sweep lightly over any harsh lines or very visible lines to make it look more natural. This will also help set in your makeup and let it stay longer.
And Yo, now you can fake cleavage that is perfect.
