* Eyelashes function as a barrier: Their primary purpose is to help prevent debris, dust, sweat, and other small particles from entering the eye, which could irritate the cornea or impair vision.
* Vision happens in the eye, not the eyelashes: The components responsible for vision (cornea, lens, retina, optic nerve, etc.) are all located within the eye itself. Eyelashes are external appendages.
While lacking eyelashes might make your eyes more vulnerable to irritants and require more frequent cleaning or blinking, it wouldn't inherently prevent you from seeing.
