Take one tablespoon of baking powder and mix it in water. Take a jar with a lid and pour this mixture. Shake the mixture before applying it on your wet hair so that it doesn't form thick granules on your scalp. This natural shampoo can also be infused with a few drops of tea tree oil if you have dandruff.

Orange and Egg shampoo

Whether your hair is short or long, this shampoo will make your hair soft. Take one egg and four tablespoons of orange juice in a bowl. Mix and whip the content till they turn smooth and even. Rub this homemade Indian shampoo on your scalp and wash it off with lukewarm water.

Egg shampoo

Lemon and Honey shampoo

Reetha and Shikakai shampoo

Reetha and shikakai shampoo can nourish the hair roots. Grind and mix 100 grams of each- amla, reetha and 75 grams of Shikakai. Soak it in water and leave it overnight. Simmer the mixture the next day and allow the concoction to cool down. Strain the solution and apply it on your hair. Rinse it off in 15 minutes.

Poppy seeds and Shikakai

Pick 250 grams of each- shikakai, Bengal gram, moong dal and poppy seeds. Add 100 grams of fenugreek and horse gram. Grind the mixture and store it in an airtight container. Take the concoction according to the length of your hair. Apply it on your wet hair and wash it off with lukewarm water.

Avocado shampoo

Take avocado and blend it along with one tablespoon of baking soda and water. Apply this homemade Indian shampoo to your hair to get rid of split ends.

Lemon and Amla shampoo

Mix three to four tablespoons of lemon with 50 grams of amla powder in a mixing bowl. Apply it to your mane and wash it off.
